Easter at the Farm
Since the weather outlook for Easter Sunday was so bleak, we decided to cancel our plans to Egg Hunt at Bennett Springs and go to the Rutledge-Wilson Farm in Springfield. We got to see Shelly and her family there and we invited MeMa and Boppa to come with us. They brought the grandma's along, too.
The weather was perfect and there were lots of great events planned. The kids got their picture taken with the Easter Bunny, which Audrey was not so thrilled about. They got to see lots of animals and animal babies. The farm has the greatest little playground, too. MeMa, Cole, Audrey and I all went on a hayride. The kids got to hunt eggs to trade in for some great little gifts and they played a lot. We had a great time spending time with family this holiday weekend. I think Cole's favorite thing was playing on the hay. You have to click on the collage to enlarge the photo, just to see the top right picture where Nannie and Audrey had a wheelchair/stroller showdown. It was too cute! Boppa and Cole are soooo ornery. :) (Yes, that's how you spell it. I learned it in 7th grade, but I checked dictionary.com just in case.)
